Steven Folkerth, MD, is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati Medical School. He trained in internal medicine at Kettering Medical Center, and is the current Medical Director of Midwest Clinical Research Center. Dr. Folkerth has been practicing since 1976, with over 20 years of experience in Las Vegas, N.V., where he was a Medical Director, Principal Investigator, and also became a Certified Clinical Trial Investigator in 2007 through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.

Since moving to Dayton, Ohio in 2015, Dr. Steven Folkerth continued his passion for clinical research as the Medical Director of Providence Medical Group. In his career, Dr. Folkerth has conducted more than 300 clinical trials in Phase I – IV with challenging populations in Pain, Sleep Disorders, Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiac Safety Gastroparesis, COPD, Vaccines, as well as other medical areas.

As a board-certified Internist, Dr. Folkerth’s dedication and commitment to Sponsors and patients alike has been a major factor is the successful execution and completion of trials.
